BIOGRAPHY

Philip Quy started his musical journey in an award winning youth Accordion orchestra, taking part in National and International competitions, and performing at the Royal Albert Hall. This is where his love for composing really began, writing pieces for the orchestra to perform.

After spells performing in pop bands in the 80's he turned his focus onto starting his own record label, writing songs for various artists, gaining valuable knowledge and relationships within the music industry.

For the past 15 years he has forged new writing partnerships and collaborations helping to develop new and emerging artists, passing on his experience and guidance to those seeking a career in music.

Philip's expertise in delivering emotion through music composition, now means he specializes in  TV, Film, Advertising and stock music libraries.
